I ordered a mushroom foo Yong meal and stated I was vegetarian twice on the phone to make sure they understood I didnt want to eat meat. The food came and because I stated it I didnt think to look when dishing up my food for meat. As you can probably guess there was meat in my food and to say I was upset was an understatement! I called and stated what happened the young guy on the phone then hung up on me, when I called back they offered me a new one and a refund which I thought was very nice of them considering the circumstances. My food then came about 30 minutes later, by this point I had been sick due to the stress of eating meat involentrly so didnt really want the meal but thought Id take it anyway, the meal came however the refund and no apology did! When calling back all I got was a young Timmid guy on the phone with a female Chinese women screaming over him and then a very rude gentleman took over the call stating no refund would be given and Ive eaten so what was the problem, he couldnt comprehend the fact he had involentry gave someone meat when they do not eat it due to beliefs and was being very aggressive on the phone ! To say Im angry and upset doesnt even cover it! The food other than the meat is mediocre but the service if the worst Ive ever receive in my life do not go here to eat!
Just had a takeaway from here and the noodles were awful. The moment I opened the box u could smell the old oil used. Could not touch them plus the starter had been cooked in old oil too. When calling to complain they would not listen to me and didnt offer to reimburse or anything else. Wont be going back
Instant regret. While some of the food was barely ok, that chow mein was absolutely horrible. Smelled like very old oil, chicken hasn't been fresh either. Plus received beef (should be chicken) which i haven't ordered. Got strong stomach but after consuming bit of chow main had moderate pain in abdominal. Delivery took 10 mins which also means so much food we've ordered has been re heated or god knows what. Never again! :( Sorry guys.
For what I order this Chinese cannot be beaten. The salt and chilli chips are soo good I drive 8 miles, past many other takeaways I like to get them sometimes. The satay chicken Malaysia style and Singapore rice noodles are banging, too. Cant comment on delivery or any other dish, but I will be visiting again soon.
